We have a special new segment that we are featuring on third Saturdays and it is called the King's Corner. It is an opportunity to give our men a voice and a platform to be heard on to dispel the negative stereotypes that exist out here when we know that there are many of our brothers that are out here doing positive and powerful things. And before I start with the prayer, I just want to give a shout out to AI Genoa Ross. AI Genoa is in the studio with me and I'm very grateful that he is a consistent king on the front line and a huge support. And so first and foremost, I'd like to give thanks to the almighty Creator who is the maker of heaven and earth. We give thanks to the Lord of all worlds, the King of Kings, Alpha and Omega, beginning and end. We know that the almighty Creator goes by many names. And we give thanks for the divine that exists within each and every one of us. We give thanks for all of the creation. We give thanks for the angels and the ancestors. We ask as the spirit of the Most High go before us in all things that we do. We ask that we continue to walk in the light and that we have favor and covering and protection. For all those who are listening over the airwaves, I ask for a special blessing for prosperity and for peace, for us to want for nothing and for us to have joy and love and light within us. And with this, I give thanks for all those who have come before us and for all those who will come after us. We ask that we continue to have supernatural strength and power so that we may be able to fulfill the purpose of good, conquering evil in this day and time. And with that, I say amen. Give thanks. We are opening up differently today. I always love to start with the drums, but today I want to start out with Fela Kuti. His rendition of Afro pop or Afrobeat music was something that was created in the 70s out of the culture of him coming to America and mixing jazz and African music. And Fela Kuti, he was born during the month of October, he's from Nigeria and he was a master of music and of using music as a tool for political consciousness. And so I opened up with that intentionally to honor him as an ancestor. And we have another salute out to Peter Tosh. His birthday was two days ago, and Peter Tosh is considered to be the Malcolm X of reggae music. I love that title for him, his consciousness is in a class really unto itself. And I also wanted to get a shout out to him as well. And as I like to do, I like to remind us the importance of speaking over ourselves and using our words as tools of power. We can use our words as weapons to tear people down, but why not use them to speak? People speak over ourselves and others. There are many things that I notice as I relate to people, and it's the power of the tongue. There's life and death in the tongue. And it's so important to affirm ourselves and one another. So I would like to remind you all, even if you are not able to look in the mirror when you do it, it's a very powerful practice to look in the mirror at yourself, to smile at yourself, to look into the eyes, which is called the window to our soul. And to affirm that things as I am powerful, I am prosperous, I am more than enough. I am more than a conqueror, I am victorious. I know that I am living on purpose and fulfilling my purpose. I know that all my needs are already supplied. For I know that everything that I want and desire that I have the power and the possibility to fulfill. I am walking in joy, I am walking in peace. I am walking in power, and I am walking in love. And I claim those things for all of us as a people. Sometimes you have to look beyond what you physically see with your eyes and know that there are great things in store for you, for all of us. And one of the most important things about manifestation is that you have to see things before they even happen. And that is the power that affirmations have that you can actually speak things over yourself. Even when things don't look good, even when things don't look bright. It's so important to speak over yourself, to know that we have the power of. Of our spirit and our mind, as well as our voice, to ask and we shall receive, seek, and it shall be found. And so I just want to remind all of us that we are powerful human beings. And we have not just potential, but the ability to shift everything in our life as well as on this planet and in the universe. And with that, I want to go forward with the Peter Tosh song. And this song is called Pick Myself Up. And this is about encouragement about knowing that whatever's going on in your life, you have to lift yourself up, give thanks. [00:09:14] Speaker B: Oh, how sweet they sing and oh, how much I wish that I could fly and I tried I said I try I try I really try Try If I got nothing my naughty all over I got to beat myself up Sitting in the evening sun Watching the sabers passing by Sitting the wondering and waiting for the time for me to fly Every night myself I got to be my. [00:12:22] Speaker A: Each and every day when we arise, we get an opportunity to do this thing called life over again and get an opportunity to do it better. So whenever we wake up in the morning and the new day, it's. It's a blessing and it's a gift. And so the King's Corner this special segment is about giving a platform to our men to have an opportunity to raise the vibration on a planet, to use their voice to bring positivity to the surface, to the forefront. What happens, I see a lot of times is that there's a lot of negative stereotypes about our men that really are not the constant truth. You know, it's just like with everything in life, whether it's religion or, you know, organizations, there's always going to be people that are out here doing good things and people who are not. And along the way, I've met a lot of great men. I actually come from a family of great men who are excellent fathers, husbands, brothers and sons. And I have been surrounded by great men all my life. And so I have never once chosen to be on the side of what I call male bashing. I've always been a proponent of making sure that people know that there are a lot of brothers out here that are doing good things. And more and more we see that, we see that men are showing up more powerfully. We're living in a different time than we did 40 and 50 years ago. I see a lot of men being hands on in their community, hands on in their families. And we want to make sure that men have an opportunity to speak up and speak out about the good things that they're doing on the planet and not feeling like there's so many things that are beating them down and tearing them down. And so my goal is to use our Kibalon radio show to promote that. And I'm so thankful that I Genoa is here today. Genoa has been on the front line for many, many, many decades. I won't say it like he's ancient, but I'm saying it like a man who has made his choice. He's chosen what side that he's going to walk on, and he's chosen to continue to fight the good fight, as we say. And so right now, AI Genoa, he has a lot of music, musical experience, a lot of conscious music. He has conscious reggae concerts that he does. And we're going to start before the interview with one of his songs called the Homeland. And the homeland is all about recognizing, you know, Africa not as the motherland, not as the fatherland, and making it gender specific, but actually recognizing the cradle of civilization and where it all be began, where even in the scripture says the Garden of Eden was and where the rivers of Africa flow through. So I just want to shout out I genoa now and thank you very much for being here. [00:15:36] Speaker B: Yes, greetings. [00:15:37] Speaker A: Greetings. [00:15:40] Speaker B: To your show, wonderful show and to the detail rights and yes, the family out there, Caribbean Life, TV family and everyone in radio, on TV and the Internet, the world. Right. Greetings in the name of the most high. [00:16:03] Speaker A: So we're going to listen to Homeland. Would you like to speak on that as well? A. [00:16:08] Speaker B: Well, yeah, you just said it. Additionally, the original title was the Motherland, but I realized that something wasn't right there because there's no mother without the father and father without the mother. [00:16:23] Speaker A: That's right. [00:16:24] Speaker B: You know, so I, after much deliberation, I get the clarity that, you know, it has to be the old man. It can't be. That's the motherland. [00:16:33] Speaker A: Yes. [00:16:34] Speaker B: Have to be the motherland and the fatherland. That's the reason for that. [00:16:41] Speaker A: Yes. And it raises consciousness because although there are things that we do know that are actual facts, like who the original man and woman is, where, as I mentioned, the Garden Eden was, and you know, how ancient civilization is, it is really good to be reminded of that because we have so many, many messages out here that don't always remind us of our roots, our origin, and to affirm it in a positive way, you know, that we actually do have a homeland that as we were displaced and you know, we're in the Caribbean and we're in north and South America, our people were always all over the whole planet. And that's the goal of being a Pan Africanist, is to remind people that we are all over the planet and when we unite, we have more power. And so for me, when you name that song Homeland, it brings significance to also the edutainment part of what you do, what the eye does, because with edutainment you're actually teaching as you speak through music. And so it's a way of letting people, people know that, you know, this is our homeland and it is actually, you know, the original cradle of all civilization that whether we're talking about Asia, India, China, you know, the darkest people in the world are not actually in Africa. They're in India and recently you di actually sent the video about how, you know, people in Asia are admitting that their ancestors, their forefathers and foremothers were African or dark skinned people. [00:18:29] Speaker B: Original. [00:18:30] Speaker A: The original, yes. And woman. And so I give thanks for the edutainment and we will listen to Homeland now. [00:18:40] Speaker B: Yes, let's see if we can kill this Satan. The mind in the homeland. The ancient prophet Universal harmony for our homeland. The finite work here for the plunderers. The plan. If I can control our homeland staging. I'm on our peace will and destiny are even fires with stolen resources from our homeland. They are still stealing our natural resources. All children that most. [00:22:21] Speaker D: Yes. [00:22:22] Speaker A: Give thanks for the message. I really. Yes. And I love how, you know, you have this thing. It's not even a thing, it's like a purpose where the goal is to raise the vibration on the planet and to teach people, you know, a message in the music. And so it is a wonderful thing. Opportunity for us to remember the reason why we are supposed to be listening to music. Music is supposed to be about healing and activating something good on the inside. And the times that we live in is so important for us to shift that energy around music. And so I just want to ask you a few questions and let this be, you know, natural and organic for you. [00:23:13] Speaker B: Yes. [00:23:14] Speaker A: But I'd like for the listening audience to hear a little bit about your purpose, your plan. How did you, you know, get to where you are today? What inspired you to be on this musical journey? [00:23:29] Speaker B: Well, it's a continent, beloved. I'm just moving in the state of my ancestors. It was very pleasing to. I'm in spirit that you play Fela Kuti and Peter Tash. Those are two of my favorite ancestors. And you know, Gil Scott Heron, Nina Simone, to say a few. There's not a lot of people that I listen to. So you see where my spirit is. My purpose is to be of service to my people. And music is using music, Ruth Regan music in particular, as a healing modality, to heal, uplift, educate, enlighten and empower people. So music is the weapon, you know, and the message is in the music. [00:24:16] Speaker A: Yes, absolutely. I think that it's really important for us as a people to recognize our ancestors, for us to know that there were people before us that made it possible for us to be here. Yes, indeed. And actually lighten the load. Sometimes when, you know, I'm feeling overwhelmed, I am reminded I remember my ancestors so I can get that extra strength to know that the things that I may Feel overwhelmed with. Oftentimes it's a lack of the community connection or, you know, the family connection. We live so far away from each other nowadays than we used to. And I feel that our ancestors, they, they did so much more, they were so strong that it gives me, you know, just like the wind beneath my wings to keep going. And the thing about this music being a weapon, it's like, I remember there was a time where on the radio they started to censor rap music music, hip hop music, when it was being revolutionary, when it was being conscious. Now there's so much slackness. There's, you know, so many things on the radio now and it's like, why aren't they banning those things? You know, when it was about consciousness and people opening up their mind and open up their eyes, it was this big movement. I remember in the 90s where it was like, no, no, we don't want that on the radio. And then a lot of conscious hip hop artists, they went underground. And I've seen it with reggae music changing. [00:25:46] Speaker B: Yes, indeed, it is deliberate because it's lack of purpose. I know what your purpose is. And you know, if you know what your purpose is and you stay true to yourself and your purpose, they're gonna come and try to sway you and to cooperate you into their things, you know, and you have to know because they going to come in many different ways and form to distract you from your true purpose, you know, And I've seen it done. You know, some people are incorruptible, like fellow Kuti and Peter Tash, you know, So I, yes, I have, I have, I have ones to look up to. Yes, you know, and to maintain that level and that on that path, you know, so I am. Because we are. So we are because I am my ancestors. [00:26:40] Speaker A: And so what are the things that keep you on the path? Like, is there, you know, something that you can encourage some of the brothers out here as well as the sisters? What makes you incorruptible? How is it that you have, you have been able to stay on the front line? I also know you to be a historian. Always see a book. I love that. Because they say if you want to hide something from a black man, put it in a book. [00:27:07] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:27:08] Speaker A: You're not hiding it, but I don't. [00:27:09] Speaker B: Even know where that came from. Because we are the one that create all the sciences. [00:27:14] Speaker A: That's true. [00:27:14] Speaker B: Science of writing, music, mathematics, you know, you see, I, I'm walking with my books. I'm a hobbit. Reader. I haven't been reading for a while because I had some, you know, eye issues, but now correctional situation and that. So I'm good to see what I'm reading. I just finished reading Bob Marley and Me Dan Taylor Story, and now I'm reading again. Message to the People. Marcus Garvey. [00:27:41] Speaker A: Yes. [00:27:41] Speaker B: You know, so, you know, it's a very good read. So. Yeah. And when I read it, it stimulates my mind, you know, and give me a wider perspective of the situation that we feel. But, you know, back to your question. I'll follow to your question. You have to stay on purpose. You have to stay on code, you know, and a lot of people get because they don't have a solid foundation. What really keep me on code is my purpose to serve my people. It's a period. I don't have to be all over the place. I just keep it simple, you know, to be of service to my people. And I know that that is my purpose. And reggae music is a gift to us that came out of our struggle and of our child as a people. And this is a very important work. And that is the reason why Petash gets so much fight, you know, undermined, maligned, and ultimately met his demise. Because, you know, people. Peter touches uncompromising. You know, I don't have to speak of myself because I am. Because we are so. We are. Because I'm an extension of my ancestors. So I cannot, I feel, always feel comfortable in referring to my ancestors. [00:28:51] Speaker A: Okay. [00:28:51] Speaker B: And the work that they have done which allows me to do this work or to continue to do this work. [00:28:58] Speaker A: Yes, yes, give thanks. And so what I'm hearing, as you mention, and just to acknowledge, yes, we did create, you know, the first written language, first libraries and universities. And so, you know, that's something that in the last 50 or so years is a stereotype that we have to dispel. We talk about dispelling stereotypes. And for those who don't pick up a book, there's always audiobooks out here. They even have, you know, books now that you can listen to. But that is one of the things that I noticed that some of the men who I speak to, they are very well read. They're not just, you know, into the sports and, you know, the regular news, but they're informing themselves of, you know, what's going on in the world. And no shade on those who are sports lovers, because I know this is football season, and I have a lot of family members that are into sports. However, are we using these things to bring us Together or as distractions. [00:30:01] Speaker B: We have to maintain a balance. [00:30:03] Speaker A: True. [00:30:04] Speaker B: You know, in. In everything that we do. Moderation is key. [00:30:09] Speaker A: Yes. [00:30:10] Speaker B: You know, my cousin that produces the Homeland, who is a technical producer prince, you know, it's placed for his father, the Abyssinians, and body waiter as a drummer, you know, you said, cause don't be addicted to anything. [00:30:25] Speaker A: That's right. [00:30:25] Speaker B: You know, so I'm saying, so it's moderation in everything because they're gonna come at you, you know, they'll study your ways. And like Bob Marley said again, back to my ancestors, you know, every one of our eager need to be fed, you know, so we have to be careful. They study on whatever you like, that what they will bring at you to try and be. So we have to be on the watch. It's guarded. It take a lot of energy, you know, I take away from your creativity and everything, but you have to stand guardian, you know, because my thing is, I've always said it's stupid to take a snake and put in your bosom, you know, And I've looked on the history of my people and I've seen what they have done. I'm not saying I won't make mistakes because I'm not perfect, but I don't want to make the same mistakes that my forerunner, my ancestors make and the traps that they're falling into. One of the things that really perturbed my spirit right now is how gullible the masses of our people are. [00:31:25] Speaker A: Yes. [00:31:26] Speaker B: You know, you know, somebody said, I think it was Bob say, you fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. And I'm tired to see my people being fooled. You know, true religion and father tricks, you see what I'm saying? They keep the people divided, you know, So I, I don't really subscribe to religion, you know, I, I think religion is a, you know, church on state is. Is a tool to divide and to conquer the people, you know. So I said, my ancestors again, Marcus Garvey, one God were able destiny. You know, I know the God concept is a European construct, but yeah, just for reasoning and for those at that level know that we're dealing with the supreme Being, you know, when the rain fall, it fall. And everyone knows that, you know, when they, you know. So, you know, that's what it is. We say one in everything. We say one. [00:32:25] Speaker A: Yes. When we look at oneness, when we. When you speak about religion, it's like all of the religions, whether you look at the, you know, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church coming out of Ethiopia, Islam, Judaism, all the major religions of the world still come out of our experience from the homeland. And then when you look at different levels of spirituality, whether it's Buddhism, you know, Krishna consciousness, there are common threads that exist. And when we choose to be spiritual beings, having a human experience and religion can be a vehicle that can take people where they want to go within their spiritual realm. But it's important to study and to go to the Creator directly. And I do notice that with men who are strong and on the path that oftentimes they are grounded in a sense of their divinity, you know, knowing that God actually exists within us as well as on the planet and everything in creation. And it's so important for us to recognize and find our own way and not feel like we have to continue to reproduce or recreate the wheel or recreate what other people have been doing. But how can we, you know, get to the core foundation? What are the universal principles that each and every person can abide by? No matter what their religion is, you know, no matter your race, color, creed, There are some simple things that no matter. One thing that I, I speak about is the golden rule. You'll find the golden rule in every single culture on the planet. Planet. Whatever the religion is, whatever the culture is, you treat people as you want to be treated. And if you see yourself as an extension of your brother and your sister, you see yourself as an extension of your ancestors, then things are simpler. And when you mention everything in moderation, that is so true. Because there's different levels of addiction. You know, we look at maybe the person who may be addicted to a substance, but often times we could be addicted to these phones. I see these cell phones as being such. It's like, you know, idol worshiping. When a creator says, you know, thou shall have no other gods before me. Oftentimes we can't go without these cell phones. And it's a choice that we have to make to consciously detach and separate ourselves and have some time with nature, have some, some time with our family, had some time with the Creator without these phones. I see it with the youth a lot. I. I didn't even let my children have a cell phone until last year and they just turned 18. Shout out to the soul brothers, Ross David and Ross Andrew. And so they're just using cell phones. Where I've seen people who, you know, they have their babies on these cell phones, tablets and phones. So everything can be an addiction. And moving forward to, you Know the whole purpose is to inspire our men and to, you know, remind men of who they are. That, you know, we are kings and queens. And even when we talk about Christ consciousness, Christ and his kingly character. And the whole purpose is for us to know that no matter who worked on the planet, planet before us, the whole purpose was to show us that it could be done, that we could conquer the flesh, that spirit can overcome material. And so the men that are out here on the front line, we're speaking to all the brothers out here today to be reminded of who you all are as a people and that you know, no matter where you go on the planet, you will be sought out. Oftentimes. I've spoken to men who travel the world and they speak about how black men, you know, we don't recognize the amount of respect not only that is deserved, but that is also received on a global platform. That people may not always say it, but that there is a powerful being that exists when it comes to our men and the things that have been done on the planet and being the forerunners of so many things. So I like for you to share your thoughts about, you know, just how it is being a brother on the front line and the things that you feel move you and inspire you and what words of inspiration or encouragement that you could share as well. [00:37:03] Speaker B: I'm going to keep it simple, like I've said before, not being repetitious, but knowing my purpose. And my purpose is to serve my people. And I'm a race first person, and that's basically it. And using my gifts and my talents to be of service to my people. Sometime I get tired, I get weary, you know, because I see the dumb fool we are. The foolishness of my people, you know, how gullible they are, you know, because we are loving people by nature, mind you. [00:37:35] Speaker A: Yes, we. [00:37:36] Speaker B: So I'm. Sometimes we might interpret being loving with being gullible. You know, we are just a forgiving people. So all I'm saying, you know, right now is for us to reclaim, you know, it's a reclamation period that we're going to reclaim our true position and be firm in our position, standing up for what is right and righteous in the sight of the most high and the ancestors, you know, because there's a lot of destruction in the world today. And, you know, it grieves my spirit. That's what I'm saying. My purpose right now, the mission that I'm on particular right now, is to use the music to heal, to uplift, to educate and Enlighten my people because we are, the majority of our people are hindered, you know, we are, we are hurting as a people because we depart from the natural way, you know, which is to be one with the universe, follow, you know, within accordance with universal laws and principles, you know, not the laws of man. Like Bob said, you know, I'm not here to be, you know, one with the laws of men because, you know, men always wrong. You know, we know that the most high manifests through us, but there's another. There's not a lot of us who tend to walk into that sphere of righteousness and hopefulness. So, you know, the music is what I'm dealing with, you know, to lift my people up. [00:39:07] Speaker A: Yes. Give thanks. And so there is a call to action, you know, for our men, especially being leaders. We definitely need more of our men coming forward, you know, using their voice to show up positively. I was actually looking at, you know, some statistics and it says that, you know, more of our men are increasing when it comes to financial prosperity. There are more men on the planet that are able to create. But how are we using that in return to uplift our people and not just pursue things. There are more men who are being educated, but you would think that, you know, the way that the stereotypes are that that's not true. But what is education? Is it like Carter G. Woodson said, the miseducation of the Negro? And I have met many people who are self taught and self educated who have a different sense of being. And so, you know, I've gone to college. I'm not knocking the university system, but can we use it as a tool and a weapon for empowerment as opposed to being better slaves to the master? [00:40:24] Speaker B: Yes. [00:40:24] Speaker A: And it's so important for us to recognize, you know, the value that our men bring, actually. [00:40:31] Speaker B: Good point. You touch on. It was in the 40s, I think, or 50s. That, and I kind of allude to this in, in Wake up. The title caught on my EP where I said, I use education to prepare you for manipulation. And then I learned that Rockefellers and the Carnegie's, you know, prior to them taking over the school system, it was the family responsibility to educate the children. But what they have did, And I think Dr. Umar Johnson was speaking on this the other day. It's there on YouTube, you can look it up. And he was saying that they decide to take over the education system globally, America and globally, so that they could prepare workers for the industrial, for the industrialization and for the factories and the manufacturing and all of that. So, you know, we have to take responsibility. We have to take responsibility because I'm pro education too, mind you. You know, but our knowledge is infinite, you know, so I always know that it's my responsibility to educate, to constantly educate myself and not depend on the system. [00:41:51] Speaker A: Absolutely. And I also like to acknowledge, because I'm a homeschooling parent. [00:41:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:58] Speaker A: That I notice some of the children, they really want to be homeschooled, but because of finances, parents are not able to do it. And that's when a community comes into play. And many cultures, they even do Saturday school where they're able to instill certain things in their children that are not instilled in them in the school. And even, you know, and in times of the past, it seems like Sunday school, it was an opportunity for literacy for people to, you know, learn certain things. And so it's also using the institutions that we have that exist, you know, to transform them to be something more powerful, to have people more actively involved. So where, you know, people may have one purpose for us and then we change it around, we flip it, and we are really good at that as a people where sometimes, you know, someone has given us our their worst and we've turned it around and made it to be the very best. And no one can figure out how, you know, how we can do that. [00:43:06] Speaker B: Tell you what, because we are the original people. That's why I'm saying we need to reclaim our rightful position, you know, as the moral compass and the moral foundation of humanity. The reason why things is so helter skelter. And so how to work right now is because husty original people is off center. You know, we are not living our true purpose. We have been sidetracked and detracted. You know, Baba Malcolm said, we have been woodwink and bamboozled. You know, so we chasing after other people when we supposed to be firm in our position as the original people. Because everything evolves around us. So as we grow and stabilize ourselves and grow and elevate, so the humanity will. [00:43:51] Speaker A: Yes, yes. And that balance is really important because our men, we definitely need our men to create the balance, you know, when it comes to raising the children, being in the community, there's so many opportunities here, you know, that I see for our men to show up and position themselves as Ajanoa said, to claim your rightful place. Place as the leaders and the kings that you all are as the original men on the planet. The first man. And another thing that came to mind was that for me, I noticed, like the Way of the world is like, you know, there was a time where parents actually, you know, had more say than the children. And nowadays it seems like, you know, some households, you know, the children are having more say than the parents. And it even is like that as far as genealogically, where, you know, we are the first people, and yet sometimes we don't acknowledge that, as in our eldership, you know, being the oldest people on the planet, it would make sense for us to step up and take the lead. [00:45:04] Speaker B: We have to. Otherwise the world is going to be in a total confusion. We have to stand up and reclaim our rightful position. Because like I said, we are the moral compass. We are the foundation. You know, everything evolves around us. Let's not fool ourselves. Contrary what other people might say or do, you know, we are the foundation. And unless we stand up and take a rightful position and reclaim that and behave accordingly, we're gonna be in big trouble. The world is going to be in trouble. Continue to be in trouble. [00:45:40] Speaker A: So, yes, this is a call to action for our men in loving up on yourselves and allowing others to do that, knowing yourself, knowing who you are, it is very, very important because we need our men. We need our men to rise up and to show up powerfully as the kings that you all are. We actually have a call in right now from Ken Sirius, and we're gonna actually. We have a few songs. Ajanova, one of his songs, I wanted to play. So we're gonna hold off on that song so that Ken Sirius can speak on the air. We have a special guest who was not able to come into the studio. Ken Sirius is also a conscious reggae artist as well. And we give thanks for the brothers that are out here spreading consciousness. Greetings. [00:46:38] Speaker D: Yeah, great. And, sister, give thanks. [00:46:42] Speaker A: Yes, give thanks, Ken Sirius for being patiently waiting to come on the air. And we're looking forward to when you can come in person. So thank you for calling in. I've introduced you as a conscious reggae artist, but I'd like for you to tell our family throughout the world who you are and what you're about as you are on the front line of spreading consciousness. You've been out here in the front line like our brother Aijenoa, who's in the studio. And I just want to give you the opportunity to speak to the people who are listening over the airs. Give thanks. [00:47:19] Speaker D: Yeah. Give thanks. Yeah. Bless Elijah, you will. Right now, I am a regular artist from Jamaica. I was born a place in Manchester, you know, I said, that's the parish, you know. And. And then I was Clarendon. So we always on the positive part, you know, because I was by some Rasterman and things. Arrest that woman too. So we always know about our heritage and our Africanism, you know, we learn them things that from a tender age. So therefore that kind of helps me, you know, to be the person who I am today, you know what I'm saying? And I used to listen to Brigadier Jerry Pancalo music, the man that can Pierre roots and culture. And I was amazed the first time I heard it. And I decided, yeah, that's the part I'm gonna take, you know what I'm saying? Because we have to try to imitate and liberate our people in America. A lot of people even have Confucius, you know, I'm saying an illusion and all kinds of. And these things purposely, purposely done to keep us long as a people. So we have to seek for information and then spread it through the music so the people can get the message. Yeah, man. [00:48:59] Speaker A: Yes. Give thanks. And so I've listened to your lyrics and I. I feel the conscious message that you're very passionate about everything that you're representing. And again I see brothers who are staying committed to, you know, the consciousness. And as you are on this journey, can you please share with the people what recent things that you're moving into now, any projects, anything that you'd like to share that we can continue to follow, listen and support. [00:49:38] Speaker D: Yeah, I just recently released my debut album, you know, it's called Better World because as you can see the chaos going on worldwide. So we have to step up and make a change, you know what I'm saying? And it have to done collectively each other, the individual have to play them role to make it be a reality, you know, man says. So people can go check out the album on all platforms, including my personal website, which is Ken Sirius.net you know what I'm saying? So that's K E N space and then S E R I O U s dot net. You know, God is here at stand for. You know, we serious against all the negative elements and all the foolishness. That's what the serious stand for. Yeah, so they can just check out Ken Siro and follow me on Instagram. Facebook is the same name. And they can see what we did before, what we're doing now and what we plan to do. [00:51:03] Speaker A: Yes, yes. Give thanks, my brother. Give thanks for the opportunity to just meet ones out here that are actually doing good works. And we definitely need a better world. And we have the power to create that each and every day. Are there any positive messages that you would like to share with brothers out here to inspire them to, you know, stay on the path of righteousness and to show up powerfully on the planet? [00:51:33] Speaker D: Yes, definitely at first. Self love, self worth, you know, if you love yourself, you're gonna love other people because it is impossible to share, but you don't have for yourself, you know what I say, with somebody else. So self love is, is one of the main things. Self worth, know your value. You know me, I said don't feel intimidated and don't feel less than because we are all equal, we're all unique, you know, I mean, I say everybody have their own purpose. Tell them, come here fast. You know what your purpose is. You know me, I say execute it to the best of your ability. And no matter what, don't let no one tell us. You can't just continue move along. And I love unity, you know, May I say we as a people have to start live as family, you know, we have to do unto others that the way it's done unto us. Simple things. Just go forward to the basic, you know, because the formula is already there. It just needs to be reactivated, you know, and the elders, we have to be fathers for the children out here, you know. You know, because it takes a village to raise a child. You know me, I said certain things is tangible, just like the sun, the moon and the star. That's all certain principles are, you know, it cannot change if you change it, that means we are going after the real. That's why so many chaos going on right now. So Alia said, love yourself, love others and start trade and with one another in terms of information, in terms of resources, we have to build our community together. [00:53:38] Speaker A: Yes, that's a very powerful message. And I give thanks to be in alignment with brothers and sisters that have common values and common goals. And it really is true about bringing ourselves into a vibration of family. You know, if we treat each other as we are extensions of each other, not am I my brothers and sisters keeper, but I am my brother, I am my sister. When you win, I win. And so I give thanks. I know one of your songs is It Takes a Village. And I say that all the time. So, you know, we really give thanks for, you know, brothers that are out here doing good things. And we're here to encourage. Thank you for being a part of the first segment of the King's Corner. And I am very, very much looking forward to when you're able to come in the studio and share more about your story, your journey, and, you know, the great things that you are doing and great things that are to come. I give thanks for just, you know, calling in and bringing positivity and light so that we can be reminded of who we are. And it doesn't have to be complicated, but we do have to raise the vibration within ourselves so that we can spread that love and spread that positivity because there's no other way that we can win. So I give thanks. [00:55:09] Speaker D: Yeah, definitely. And later on, I have this open mind. I'm gonna perform so people can come through. It will be. It will be the Premier restaurant and Lounge. [00:55:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:55:30] Speaker D: 6924 Main Street. Like Lithonia. [00:55:36] Speaker A: Okay. [00:55:37] Speaker D: That's 69, 28, starting 7:00 clock until 11. You know, it's an open mind thing and for, you know, conscious people, conscious artists. And the COVID charge is $15. Yeah. [00:55:54] Speaker A: All right. Give thanks for that. So that's going to be in Lithonia, Georgia, at the premier restaurant from 7pm tonight to 11pm that's not too far from the studio on this side of town. So, yeah, look forward to hearing more good things. Thank you for sharing. You know, something that's happening good today that you're a part of. And we're gonna play one of your songs. I actually had two, but I'm running out of time. And then we're gonna end with one of AI Genoa's songs. So. Thinking Never give in. Yeah, because I think that's a positive message. And I like your response to that. I really like the upfulness. And it's so important for all of us, and especially our men, to know that we definitely need to see our men standing up and not giving in to the negative stereotypes, not giving in to the temptations and the pitfalls that have been set before us. And to remember, you know, the divinity of our men, that the Creator exists within each and every one of our brothers out here, as well as our sisters. But we're focusing on. On our men. And for those men who may not feel encouraged or inspired, reach back into history, see what men were doing, who may have had less resources, opportunity, or information available. And then look around and see people who are doing the things that are good so that we can surround ourselves around more positive people. They say, want to know where you're going, look around and see the people who you're with. And so it's very important for us to surround ourselves around positive people. Even if it's a YouTube video. Of inspiration, just to stay inspired and motivated. So we're going to play your song and give honor to you. And I give thanks King Ken Sirius in the house. And I give thanks to Aijanoa for making sure that the connection was made. And I'm blessed to be a part of your family and to have you as a part of mine now. [00:58:12] Speaker D: Thank you very much and give thanks for having me. Give thanks for the opportunity. [00:58:16] Speaker A: Yes. [00:58:17] Speaker D: Big up yourself again. Every time. Yeah. [00:58:21] Speaker A: All right, everyone. Ken Sirius never gives you. [00:58:35] Speaker B: Never share your plan with them Let them see it manifest. No father, no one to see you is nowhere your kind is their sweet away Trying to kick your feet away Never give in to the. [00:59:12] Speaker A: King 6 Rewind Selector Shout out to DJ Reynolds. [00:59:32] Speaker B: Never share your plan with them nowhere no for them up here Ghana Eden Let them see it manifest oh yes, you know why no fun up no office to you is no way your kind is their feet away Trying to take your feet away Never giving to the sh Standing firm like the great China one no want to see you with no way your kind is their feet away Trying to keep your feet away Never give to their wish north and south Mama and papa try their best so help me out. I continue this journey on this progressive route. So if you want to see me feel your wish shall go in feel to his love and compassion I will prevail. If you want to see me feel your wish shall go in fear be to his love and compassion I will pure fire. [01:01:41] Speaker A: Yes. Never give in. Never give in. [01:01:44] Speaker B: Yes. [01:01:44] Speaker A: We got to stay encouraged and we got to stay inspired. And how we do that is by pouring into one another. And so I give thanks for Ken Sirius who called in. I give thanks for I, Janoa being live in the studio for our first segment of the King's Corner where we are raising the positive vibrations on the planet for our men and dispelling and reversing these negative stereotypes that are out here. We know that there are good men out here that are doing good things. I'm honored to be in the studio with AI Genoa and shout out to DJ Rez for just always being a constant rock and making this thing work and the studio and as we move forward to wrap up this, this show today, I Genoa, you also have some things that are coming up and we're going to close with I Genoa song the Natural Way. It's actually my favorite song. I have a little story to share about it, but I Genoa, can you speak to us about what you are doing as far as your music currently and how people can follow you and find out more about what you're about. [01:02:59] Speaker B: Okay, first of all, I want to give thanks to the most high and to the righteous ancestors. Give thanks to you, D.J. rez, you know, Mr. Lawrence Prescott and Empress, you know, make this work for us. You know, I am because we are so. We are because I am. As brother Ken said, it have to be a collective work and responsibility. You know, pool all our human resources and material and financial resources to make it work for us. Insofar as the work is concerned, like I said, it's a continuum. You know, there's a lot in the works. I want to give thanks and praise to those who have been helping and working, laboring, tiling, behind the scene. I can't start calling names. All the musicians, the engineers, you know, the radio personalities, the TV personalities, just ones and ones who support behind the scene. I want you to know that we appreciate, love the support over the time and until this time. And there's a lot of works to become, to be manifested actually. So we're working on CRC, which is a staple over time from 2017. We've been doing conscious reggae concert series. And from time to time we change. Not change the narrative, but change the theme, as it were. The last one we did was after four years or so was held at the Black Wall street. And that the theme for that was Rastafari Vibration. But because of so much confusion and division among us as a people, you know, do it may. Some of our responsibility are. Some of us are the cause for that. And a lot of it is external. I'm calling for family unity. So the next one will be in Jamaica in April at ochre is April 6, to be exact. And the theme for that one is family unity face. It's very important that we close ranks, right, and make sure that we take care of each other and do what it is we are here to do as a people. Yes, that's what I'm saying. We should preserve. We are the progenitor of life and to preserve humanity. Because if we keep on swinging and swaying and all over the place, the world is going to be like I said before, it's going to be in a constant confusion. So we have to, like Ken said, reclaim our natural position as the original man and woman. I want to say the original family. I'm not. It's a balance. It can't be no man without the woman and vice versa. You know, I said one and one make two, two and two make one. So it's A trinity, the mother, the father and the child. [01:05:53] Speaker A: Yes, it is. [01:05:54] Speaker B: You see what I'm saying? So that is my perspective according to universal laws and perspectives principle and of course, using our talent and our skills and the gift that has been given to us from off the rocks r music as a healing modality to heal, uplift, educate, enlighten and empower our people. [01:06:09] Speaker A: Ashe, thank you. That's so well said. So that's april 6th and ultra reals. [01:06:16] Speaker B: Yes, we're working on. On the artist right now and I'm just listening to. He's so good for the brother. I'm just listening to Ken Sirius a while ago, you know, I have to talk to him, you know, when I get off of here because, you know, I. I see that this might be one of the element that we're looking for for CRC Jamaica, Ken Sirius, because you have that eternal fire. We used to work a long, long time ago. And he left and went to Ohio and he's back here in Atlanta. And it's a honor to know that I have another strong, uncompromising warrior that I can, you know, know iron sharp iron that we can work together, you know, and pray for. You can make it to Jamaica for, you know, CRC Jamaica in April. [01:07:02] Speaker A: Yes, I like how that sounds. And it's also an example of the importance of collaboration. If we go together, we'll go farther than alone. And so, yes, I do want to acknowledge that your music is very family oriented. Same with Ken Sirius. There's a time that we're living in now where you can't really listen to certain things on the radio, you know, with the children and even from my own ears, I'm like, oh, my gosh. [01:07:30] Speaker B: Very low, low energy, low frequency. And it's my. It's deliberate. [01:07:34] Speaker A: Yes. [01:07:35] Speaker B: You know, we could go on and on and on, but as of right now, I just want to keep it centered around the music as a healing modality. Yeah, we can talk about the food. You know, that's another thing that we have to talk about at a later date. [01:07:49] Speaker A: We. [01:07:50] Speaker B: It's urgent and it's crucial now that we go back to the land and do our own food, farm our own, you know, produce our own food, you know, homeschooling. We have to take. These are our responsibility to control the narrative on what happened to us. You know, Baba Malcolm said, if you stand up straight, then someone can ride your back. You know, we need to stand up and affirm ourselves in our true purpose as the original man and woman of the human race. Yes, Indeed. [01:08:21] Speaker A: I love how you bring the quotes. And so we will be doing a segment called Healthy Eating and Living. Stay tuned for that. And as we wrap it up, we're going to play the Natural Way. I genoa this song has a special place in my heart. And one of the things that I really love is that my children love this song. Song. I spoke to Iowa a few days ago because they just keep singing it. They say it's such a powerful song. It's true. It's positive, you know, and I just enjoy seeing the youth, you know, take up lyrics and. And chant lyrics that are positive and uplifting and planting those seeds for our children. I give thanks. I want to acknowledge that, you know, that the music is a tool and a weapon, and it can plant positive seeds for all of us and especially the youth. And to just hear, you know, my children singing, you know, man, woman and child is the natural way. And I mean, they just singing it all evening. We're working on, you know, dinner and sitting down to eat and washing dishes, and they just singing the song over and over again. And it brought so much joy because we have music that can bring us together as a family. And that family unity theme, it's really key. It's an urgent need for our families to come together and be stronger. I come from a big family. You know, we were able to get together in September, and it was just. It was like magic. I felt like I was stronger. Because your family gives you strength. [01:10:03] Speaker B: I. I just know that. I just want to interject on this family account, elevation and consciousness right now. Family is not necessarily the blood family. [01:10:16] Speaker A: True. [01:10:16] Speaker B: You know, is ones and ones who are. Sink in that, into that. In that divine energy, in that divine unisons and the same path, progenitor of life, preserving of life and doing good and righteous things, you know, for. For each other. I am because we are so. We are because I am, because I have people, brothers and sisters that I know that are not my blood family. Are serious family. [01:10:42] Speaker A: True. [01:10:43] Speaker B: Like, they got my back. Yes, brothers and sisters. And that is imperative that we say this and know this, because I have. I have ones who are not my blood family who I can call and know and by any means necessary. Consider it done. [01:10:59] Speaker A: Yes, I agree with that. I agree that we have, you know, our bloodline and we have our spiritual families. And sometimes it may be one or two in a family. Fortunate. Yeah. That I come from a big loving family because that's, you know, how my grandparents and our great grandparents were. And we have to return to that and create it any way we can. [01:11:22] Speaker B: You said, well, you know, the original family has always been on that attack. You know, let's, let's not fool ourselves. So we know that. But you know, there's Bob Marley says so much things to say. We can say it in one interview or one appearance. You know, we have to be consistent, you know, and control in the narrative and just know that we are the original people. Everything evolve around us. [01:11:45] Speaker A: That's true. Yeah, that's true. So as we wrap it up, I give thanks, I genoa give thanks for. [01:11:52] Speaker B: The, for this presence, for your Al Qabalan radio show. Of course, cltv, you know, it's a hana I feel at home. It's ours. You know, we need to own all this plaza, putting it out there. We need to hone our own of everything so that we can control the narrative and do what we need to do for the better, betterment and upliftment of her. [01:12:20] Speaker A: Absolutely. And we also have Caribbean Life TV which is also on Facebook. And Caribbean Life TV Global is on YouTube. My name is Alkibalan Maat. You can follow me on Instagram or Facebook. Facebook. I genoa and bra.info that's I j a h K N O W a h. [01:13:14] Speaker A: Give thanks. Give thanks. We love. We love our family. And as I knowa said, it's not just our bloodline. We give thanks for those who are in tune and that share common values and goals. And I remind you all to shine your light brightly into the world. Be a better version of yourself today and each and every day you have an opportunity to wake up, up and live. Do that. Wake up and live. And with that, thank you for tuning in to the a radio show. Peace and love. Family. [01:13:46] Speaker B: Embracing life to the fullest. Nothing can compare to life. Natural way. [01:14:05] Speaker A: Bad woman and child is the natural way. Bad woman and child is a natural way. [01:14:17] Speaker B: You see, the man, the woman, the child, the manifestations of the most high. Gods and goddesses cry Highness. Living manifestations of the most high one. In all honesty.
